May I present a lipogram poem, written by myself and emjayne in which no 'E's are allowed:

Soft vacuum, lost to auditory worlds
Gaps from human to human
Crossing with a hush of air

I wait for a sign -a susurration- to trust
Bound by strong limitations
Our throats stay tight

Gasping, clawing, asphyxiating on truth
Vision blurs, thoughts without honor
Lips buzz with that unsaid

A bold approach slams to a stop
Sanctuary is found in laughing too loudly
Small lights blink and diminish.

Gaining focus slowly
Lights shift from bursts to pins
Sharp points that cut and draw blood

Is this an abrupt dropping of dark?
A curtain waits, insubstantial shadow wings
Still, two of us push words forward
